How Our League Works

Season Structure:

The league will run for 10 weeks, including regular-season games and playoffs.

Teams:

12 teams are competing in a single division.

Games:

Each game consists of four quarters of 10 minutes, each with a running clock.

Breaks:

There will be a 30-second break between quarters and a 1-minute halftime break.

TEAM AND PLAYER REQUIREMENTS

Team Size

Each team must have a minimum of 5 players and a maximum of 10 players.

REGISTRATION FEE $100 PER TEAM

Game Fee

$99 PER TEAM/PER WEEK

Player Conduct

All players must adhere to the league’s code of conduct and sportsmanship.

Game Play Rules

Scoring

Scoring

Standard basketball scoring applies (2 points for field goals, 3 points for shots beyond the arc, and 1 point for free throws).

Substitutions

Substitutions

Substitutions can be made during stoppages in play but must be done quickly to maintain the flow of the game.

Fouls

Fouls

Standard basketball foul rules apply. Players will be disqualified after committing 5 personal fouls.

Timeouts

Timeouts

Each team is allowed two 30-second timeouts per game.

Statistics

Player statistics, including points, rebounds, assists, steals, and blocks, will be recorded for each game.

Awards

At the end of the season, the following awards will be given:

Scoring Champion

Awarded to the player with the most points scored throughout the season.

Defensive Player of the League

Awarded to the player with the highest defensive impact, considering stats like steals, blocks, and defensive rebounds.

League MVP

Awarded to the most valuable player of the league, based on overall performance, leadership, and contribution to their team.

Full Statistics

Basketball statistics offer a detailed view of a player's performance, highlighting points, rebounds, assists, steals, and blocks per game.

Awards

Health and Safety

Injuries

In the event of an injury, the clock will stop until the injured player is safely removed from the court.

Safety Protocols

All players must adhere to the venue’s safety protocols, including any COVID-19 related guidelines.
