Netball
Ballers Arena's netball League in Australia will showcase Sri Lankan teams competing in thrilling matches, highlighting their skills and fostering community engagement.
How Our League Works
Season Structure:
The league will run for a total of 10 weeks, including regular-season games and playoffs.
Teams:
The league consists of 12 teams (both mixed and ladies) competing in 2 separate divisions, A separate ladies netball league and a separate mixed league will be played.
Games:
Each game consists of four quarters of 10 minutes each with a running clock.
Breaks:
There will be a 30-second break between quarters and a 1-minute halftime break.
Timeouts:
Each team is allowed one 30-second timeout per half.

Team Size
Each team must have a minimum of 7 players and a maximum of 10 players.

All players must adhere to the league’s code of conduct and sportsmanship.

Statistics
Player statistics, including goals scored, assists, and defensive actions, will be recorded for each game.
Awards
At the end of the season, the following awards will be given:
Top Scorer
Awarded to the player with the most goals scored throughout the season.
Defensive Player of the League
Awarded to the player with the highest defensive impact, considering stats like interceptions and blocks.
League MVP
Awarded to the most valuable player of the league, based on overall performance, leadership, and contribution to their team.
Full Statistics
Statistics for netball players, such as goals scored, assists, and defensive actions, will be tracked for every game.
Awards
At season's end, netball awards honour top performances with categories like Top Scorer, Defensive Player of the League and League MVP.
Health and Safety
In the event of an injury, the clock will stop until the injured player is safely removed from the court.
All players must adhere to the venue’s safety protocols, including any COVID-19 related guidelines.
